Introduction
Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) was established on 30th October 1980. Granted with an allocation of RM ten thousand and a team seconded by the PETRONAS Personnel Department, it was tasked to launch and to maintain a cooperative that provides financial aid to its members.
Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad has since evolved to be one of the Top 10 Cooperatives amongst more than 13,000 cooperatives in Malaysia. Over the years,it has won many prestigious awards such as the Anugerah Koperasi Negara, Prime Minister’s Quality Award, Outstanding Vendor Award (OVA), Top Insurance Agency Award, MAS/Emirates Achievement Award and Intellectual Property Gold Award.
Today, our cooperative is often visited by other local and international cooperatives which want to learn from us about corporate governance. Our members can now choose from various shariah-compliant financing solutions to match their needs and lifestyles. Apart from providing financial assistance, we also provide members with ways to sustain and to expand their wealth.

KOPETRO Trading & Services Sdn Bhd was established on 25th October 1999 under the name of Cotrade Sdn Bhd. Starting from 13th June 2016, the name changed to KOPETRO Trading & Services Sdn Bhd.

Starting out with a small catering business back in the 80’s, today, KOPETRO Catering can pride itself as the main caterer for meeting rooms and banquet halls of the PETRONAS Towers, the highest twin towers in the world.
Incorporated in October 2010, KOPETRO Catering Sdn Bhd has more than 30 years of experience in catering and food services business. Starting out with a small catering business back in the 80’s, today, KOPETRO Catering can pride itself as the main caterer for meeting rooms and banquet halls of the PETRONAS Towers, the highest twin towers in the world. Today, KOPETRO Catering has opened their services to all walks of life within the Klang Valley and the East Coast. With better resources and rapid expansion, KOPETRO Catering wants to bring their expanding service throughout Malaysia.
The company is dedicated to providing exceptional food and service, every time, no matter the occasion and location. Most of the food served comes from its modern central kitchen, operated by professional chefs capable of preparing various local and international cuisines.
