    Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP was registered on 14 April 1972 under the Ordinan Syarikat Bekerjasama 1948 under the name Sharikat KerjasamaSerbaguna Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Berhad with registration number 4715. The company operates in the DBP canteen building & business based on borrowing and jimat-cermat

    • September 15, 1983 – KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka rented a shop house in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur as an operations center
    • October 1, 1983 – Appointed DBP book distributor for SPBT and the open market
    • November 10, 1983 – Purchased a 3 -storey shop house in Taman Nirwana, Ampang for RM232,500.00
    • 11 July 1984 – Bought a shop unit on the first floor, Safuan Plaza, Kuala Lumpur for RM400,200.00
    • July 31, 1984 – Operated in the lobby of the old DBP building
    • April 1, 1988 – The administration and finance office moved to its own building in Taman Nirwana while the bookstore operated at the front of the old building near the DBP Training Room
    • 27 November 1996 – Changed its name to Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Berhad KOOP DBP through amendments to the By -Laws
    • March 1, 2001 – Received the Consumer Quality Award from the Ketua Pendaftar Koperasi Malaysia.
    • July 7, 2004 – The entire operation moved to the new DBP building
    • 24 June 2005 – Received the Special Award for Consumer Activities from the Ketua Pendaftar Koperasi Malaysia
    • 15 August 2007 – KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka bought a 2 -storey shop house in Taman Tasik Utama, MITC, Melaka for RM237,12.36
    • March 7, 2010 – Given a 3 -star rating by the Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia  and listed at 78th place in the list of Malaysia’s 100 best Cooperatives
    • 28 June 2009 – Changed its name to Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Malaysia Berhad KOOP DBP in line with the expansion of operations to Sabah and Sarawak
    • November 27, 2008 – Purchased a 4 -storey shop house in Paragon Point, Bandar Baru Bangi Center for RM1.67 million
    • August 1, 2011 – Managed the overall distribution of BTSP issued by DBP to distributors nationwide which includes receipt from printers, production according to state requirements and distribution by land, sea and air involving 14.8 million copies of books with a value of almost RM98 million
    • November 12, 2012 – Purchased a warehouse with a total area of ​​10,990 square feet for RM3.3 million
    • February 1, 2013 – Opening of the Melaka branch mini bookstore at the Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Melaka
    • April 15, 2013 – KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka organized a Children’s and Adolescent Novel Writing Contest to obtain suitable manuscripts for publication
    • October 1, 2013 – KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka opened a bookstore at Paragon Point, Pusat Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
    • 30 November 2013 – Listed 73rd in the Group of 100 Best Malaysian Cooperatives 2013 & received the 2013 Special Cooperative Award from JPAN Wilayah Persekutuan.
    • Apart from that, KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka has also received the Best Cooperator Award at the Federal Territory Level from JPAN Wilayah Persekutuan
    • September 2, 2014 – Published and launched 10 titles of children’s and adolescent novels completed by YBhg. Datuk Nik Ali bin Mat Yunus, Executive Chairman of SKM
    • 31 December 2014 – KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka has 707 members consisting of DBP staff and sales.
    • At the administrative level, there are 33 staff members KOOP DBP Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka consisting of 13 executives and 20 non -executives.

    Mengenai Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP

    Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP telah didaftarkan pada 14 April 1972 di bawah Ordinan Sharikat Bekerjasama-sama Tahun 1948 dengan nama Sharikat KerjasamaSerbaguna Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Berhad dengan nombor pendaftaran 4715. Syarikat beroperasi di bangunan kantin DBP & perniagaan berasaskan pinjam-meminjam dan jimat-cermat

    Tarikh-tarikh Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP penting adalah seperti berikut:-

    • 15 September 1983 – Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP menyewa rumah kedai di Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur sebagai pusat operasi
    • 1 Oktober 1983 – Telah dilantik menjadi pengedar buku DBP untuk SPBT dan pasaran terbuka
    • 10 November 1983 – Membeli rumah kedai 3 tingkat di Taman Nirwana, Ampang dengan harga RM232,500.00
    • 11 Julai 1984 – Membeli satu unit kedai di tingkat satu, Safuan Plaza, Kuala Lumpur dengan harga RM400,200.00
    • 31 Julai 1984 – Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP beroperasi di lobi bangunan lama DBP
    • 1 April 1988 – Pejabat pentadbiran dan kewangan berpindah ke bangunan sendiri di Taman Nirwana manakala kedai buku beroperasi di bahagian hadapan bangunan lama berhampiran Bilik Latihan DBP
    • 27 November 1996 – Menukar nama kepada Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Berhad melalui pindaan Undang-Undang Kecil
    • 1 Mac 2001 – Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP menerima Anugerah Kualiti Pengguna dari Ketua Pendaftar Koperasi Malaysia
    • 7 Julai 2004 – Keseluruhan operasi berpindah ke bangunan baharu DBP
    • 24 Jun 2005 – Menerima Anugerah Khas Aktiviti Pengguna dari Ketua Pendaftar Koperasi Malaysia
    • 15 Ogos 2007 – Membeli rumah kedai 2 tingkat di Taman Tasik Utama, MITC, Melaka dengan harga RM237,12.36
    • 7 Mac 2010 – Diberikan penarafan 3 bintang oleh Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia dan tersenarai di tempat ke-78 dalam senarai 100 Koperasi terbaik Malaysia
    • 28 Jun 2009 – Menukar nama kepada Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Malaysia Berhad selaras dengan pengembangan operasi ke Sabah dan Sarawak
    • 27 November 2008 – Membeli rumah kedai 4 tingkat di Paragon Point, Pusat Bandar Baru Bangi dengan harga RM1.67 juta
    • 1 Ogos 2011 – Menguruskan pengedaran keseluruhan BTSP terbitan DBP ke pengedar-pengedar di seluruh negara yang merangkumi urusan penerimaan daripada pencetak, pengeluaran mengikut keperluan negeri dan pengedaran melalui darat, laut dan udara yang melibatkan 14.8juta naskhah buku dengan nilai hampir RM98 juta
    • 12 November 2012 – Membeli gudang dengan keluasan keseluruhan 10,990 kaki persegi dengan harga RM3.3 juta
    • 1 Februari 2013 – Membuka kedai buku mini cawangan Melaka di bangunan Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Melaka
    • 15 April 2013 – Menganjurkan Peraduan Menulis Novel Kanak-Kanak dan Remaja untuk mendapatkan manuskrip yang sesuai untuk diterbitkan
    • 1 Oktober 2013 – Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP membuka kedai buku di Paragon Point, Pusat Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
    • 30 November 2013 – Telah tersenarai ditempat ke-73 dalam Kumpulan 100 Koperasi Terbaik Malaysia 2013 & menerima Anugerah Khas Koperator Tahun 2013 daripada JPAN Wilayah Persekutuan.
    • Selain itu, Koperasi DBP juga telah menerima Anugerah Koperator Terbaik Peringkat Wilayah Persekutuan daripada JPAN Wilayah Persekutuan
    • 2 September 2014 – Menerbit dan melancarkan 10 judul novel kanak-kanak dan remaja yang disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Datuk Nik Ali bin Mat Yunus, Pengerusi Eksekutif SKM
    • 31 Disember 2014 – Mempunyai 707 orang anggota yang terdiri daripada staf dan pesaran DBP.
    • Di peringkat pentadbiran pula, Koperasi Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka KOOP DBP  mempunyai 33 orang kakitangan yang terdiri daripada 13 orang eksekutif dan 20 orang bukan eksekutif.
