Sejarah Penubuhan Koperasi Pembangunan Usahasama Masyarakat Maju Sabah Berhad – Koperasi Pusamaju
Koperasi Pembangunan Usahasama Masyarakat Maju Sabah Berhad – Koperasi Pusamaju ini telah ditubuhkan mengikut peraturan-peraturan yang dikuatkuasa mulai 16 September 1993. Koperasi ini telah pun didaftarkan dengan mengikut kehendak Seksyen 7(1) sebagai satu koperasi asas dengan liabiliti terhad dan Undang-undang Kecil Koperasi yang diluluskan oleh mesyuarat agung permulaan dan telah didaftarkan bertarikh 4 Julai 2002
Merujuk undang-undang kecil seksyen 5 dan memenuhi kehendak asas koperasi 1993 perenggan 26(c) kawasan operasi ini ialah daerah Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Tuaran, Kota Belud, Kota Marudi, Kudat, Keningau, Tenom, Papar, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Sipitang, Ranau, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Semporna, Tawau, Daerah Kecil Putatan, Tamparuli, Membakut dan juga Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan.
Walaubagaimanapun, pada 29 september 2008, kawasan operasi Koperasi Pusamaju sudah meliputi seluruh Malaysia. Kelulusan rujukan MECD: PK(KOP)SOK/1(70).
