Koperasi Anak Sains MARA Berhad (KOASMARA)
Koperasi Anak Sains MARA Berhad (KOASMARA) was incorporated by alumni of MARA Junior Science College (MRSM), a special high school system developed by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) for the promising bumiputera students.
Introduction
History
The MRSM system has produced more than 150,000 graduates since its establishment and today about 80 of them are listed as our members with vision to create a better business-networking platform in niche area such as international education, training and consultancy.
We are one of a handful of cooperatives in Malaysia with these unique focus as we wanted to be different, providing different angle of perspective into what a cooperative should and can do.
KOASMARA is inspired by one of our members who is also Malaysia’s Astronaut, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, and have decided to not limit into just doing what ordinary cooperatives are doing.
For us, the sky is not the limit!
KOASMARA is a registered cooperative with Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia. KOASMARA membership is eligible only for former students, teachers and staff of MARA Junior Science College (MRSM) and their family members.
The MRSM education system has produced more than 200,000 graduates since its establishment in 1972. Members of the alumni are mostly professionals, consultants and corporate leaders. Koperasi Anak Sains MARA Berhad KOASMARA would like to galvanize their vast pool of expertise and experience to become a successful business network.

Public Programs
Public Programs are workshops for busy people who are needing more info and practice on very specific topics. The modules are an integral part of our Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship.
Participants are curious to know more about the subject but do not want to commit too much time or resources on it. This workshop will give an ample overview of the topic
Our workshop formats are ACTIVE. For each concept, there will be group exercises, role plays and games for deeper understanding and longer retention. Case studies are often part of our content to give better insights related to current market conditions or industries.
All trainers are professional trainers with at least 20 years experience in their industry. Meeting experts in their fields is the greatest value for our participants.

SOFT SKILLS Route to Professional Engineer (IR)
The route on how to achieve IR status will be explained. This training & mentoring course will cover all the processes and guidance through the stages to be become a credentialed Engineer with IR.

Education Overview
- Duration: Usually 1 or 2 days at our facilities on weekends. Lunch is provided. Free flow refreshments.
- Training is provided in our comfortable class rooms. The medium of instruction is mixed Malay and English.
- Certificate of accomplishments or participation are provided.
- Training Modules are taken from our Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PDE). You may opt to join PDE later on with exemption from the topics you’ve attended.
