Koperasi Kakitangan UiTM Berhad UitmKoop was established to increase the economic interests of its members in accordance with the principles of cooperatives. In addition, cooperatives were also established to assist UiTM staff who are members of cooperatives. The benefits obtained by members are:-

1. Creating savings for savings and investment purposes.
2. Keep a portion of the income and give loans for beneficial purposes and bring profit to the members.
3. Carrying out business and trade activities / including consumer functions.
4. Buying, selling, transferring ownership, erecting, renting, pledging, leasing, mortgaging and owning movable and immovable property.
5. Invest excess money in matters permitted under section 54 of the Act.

Cooperative Membership

Open to UiTM staff fixed paid salary and cooperative staff including staff in its subsidiaries

Membership Requirements

Must be a Malaysian citizen, resident in the cooperative’s area of ​​operation, no conviction and mental ability.

Application and Payment

Entrance fee is charged at RM 10.00 and former members who apply to become members again are charged RM 50.00.

Guaranteed Cash Financing

This Guaranteed Cash Financing requires a guarantor consisting of eligible members of the Cooperative to guarantee subject to the conditions set by the Cooperative.

UiTM Berhad UitmKoop Staff Cooperative Personal Loan Eligibility

For Guaranteed Cash Financing, the eligibility for UiTM Berhad UitmKoop Staff Cooperative Personal Loan is 25 months basic salary or RM150,000.00 whichever is less, subject to the member’s existing deduction not exceeding 60% of basic salary, interest rate is 4% and 5% and maximum financing reached RM 150,000.00.

Consumer Financing (Goods)

Consumer Financing (Goods) requires a guarantor consisting of eligible members of the Cooperative to the conditions set by the Cooperative.

Funding Eligibility

For Consumer Financing (Goods), the eligibility for Koperasi Kakitangan UiTM Berhad Staff Personal Loan is 25 months basic salary or RM150,000.00 whichever is less, subject to the member’s existing deduction not exceeding 60% of basic salary, interest rate is 4% and 5% and the maximum financing reaches RM 150,000.00.

Cash Financing 90% Contribution

Cash Financing 90% Contribution does not require a guarantor but the Koperasi Kakitangan UiTM Berhad UitmKoop Staff Personal Loan guarantee is up to the member’s contribution. Subject to the conditions set by the cooperative.

Funding Eligibility

• For Cash Financing 90% Accumulated Contribution, the eligibility is 90% of the total accumulated contribution.
• Interest rates 4% and 5%.
• Calculation of Eligibility = Total Contribution x 90% = Eligibility.

IPT Loan and Emergency Loan

IPT Loan

This Koperasi Kakitangan UiTM Berhad UitmKoop IPT Personal Loan is provided for members or dependents who wish to continue their studies at institutions of higher learning. Subject to the conditions set by the cooperative

Funding eligibility

• For IPT financing, the eligibility to apply is up to RM2,500.00.
• Each member is eligible to apply once for one child only.
• Interest rate 4% per annum.

Emergency Loan

The Board may immediately approve the Personal Loan Koperasi Kakitangan UiTM Berhad UitmKoop Staff emergency loan application to members who apply provided that the financing does not exceed RM1,000.00 per year. Approval of the application is based on tangible evidence supported by valid documents.
