Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: 26 years and above.
• Employment Status: Must be a permanent employee (not contract-based).
• Minimum Salary: RM2,000 per month. If your salary is less than RM2,000, we recommend applying for a Petronesa loan instead, or your interest rate will increase to 7.88%.
• Work Experience: Must have been employed for at least 1 year.
• Payslip Deduction: Your payslip must be deducted through the PGM system (employer salary deduction) and not through Biro Angkasa.

Ineligible Applicants:

• Employees from state government, universities, district councils, and municipal GLCs are not eligible, as their salary deductions do not comply with the YIR system.

YIR Personal Loan Interest Rates

YIR offers two interest rates based on the applicant’s financial situation.

6.88% Annual Interest Rate

• Interest Rate: 6.88% per annum.
• Loan Amount: Up to RM150,000.
• Payout: 80% of the approved loan amount, minus 1 month’s advance payment.
• Approval Time: 5 to 10 working days.
• Minimum Salary: RM2,000. For applicants earning less than RM2,000, the interest rate will be 7.88%.
• CTOS Commitment: Applicants with CTOS records under RM15,000 are eligible. If the CTOS record exceeds RM15,000, the interest rate will increase to 10% per annum.

7.88% Annual Interest Rate

This interest rate applies to:

• Applicants earning less than RM2,000 per month.
• Minimum Net Salary after loan repayment must be at least RM900.
• Payout: 80%, minus 2 months’ advance payment.
• CTOS Commitment: If the CTOS record exceeds RM15,000, the application will be rejected.
• Loan Term: All approved loans have a 10-year repayment period, as mandated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
